Developing a working relationship based on trust is as important to us, as it is to you. With this in mind, let me share with you a simple fact of reality, one that you may have already guessed, and one that will help you to maintain a realistic view the process of licensing your new product idea:

Licensing new products to major toy, game, baby and gift product manufacturers
is a very speculative business.

Try not to let your excitement and enthusiasm about your concept overcome your good judgement. Work only with a professional inventor agent, broker or representative who has been recommended to you by a major manufacturer, or by the industry's trade association, Toy Manufacturers of America (TMA). Even then, there are no guaranties that your new product idea will be successfully licensed. Our manufacturing clients expect the professionals they work with to show them, only, strong and viable product concepts that meet their licensing criteria. Therefore, we will never shine you on by telling you that "you have created the greatest product we've ever seen", knowing there are real licensing issues that will cause it to be rejected by manufacturers. Conversely, when we tell you that you have a strong product concept, and we'd like to represent it on your behalf, be assured that you do, and we're ready to put our money where our mouth is by bearing the entire cost of representing and licensing it, proudly, to our manufacturing clients.
