Our Humble Beginnings Continued Another of the early products we created but never licensed, back in the late seventies early eighties. Without saying too much about the underlying concept of this plush toy, you might remember a very successful plush toy line by Hasbro called, "Puppy Surprise", that came out years later. Although it shared a lot in common with "Birthday Babies", it was slightly different, and it taught us a very valuable lesson: This is a business of only good product, and being in the right place at the right time, as well. Had we taken "Birthday Babies" off the shelf and shown it 3 years later, we might have been the one to license it to Hasbro. |
