In the coming year we, also, hope to offer inventors the opportunity to sell their new product ideas directly to major toy and game retailers in the US, and around the world, through our new FunScape program, without having to pay the costs associated with “production” and “sales” (i.e. tooling, manufacturing, warehousing, shipping, marketing, etc.) Look for more information about FunScape in the coming months. NewFuntiers is a professional invention, design and development company. We have been creating, designing, and licensing our own innovative product ideas to toy, gift, and baby product companies since 1978. As a result of our success, and close working relationship with our company clients, many of them now provide our name to independent inventors as a trusted inventor's agent, broker, and product representative resource. In that capacity we've been asked to evaluate (screen) new product ideas from independent inventors, and represent those that meet our company client's new product needs and licensing requisites. Independent inventor phone hours are from: 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Pacific Time in the U.S. (For calls from outside of U.S., please use your local international calling prefix. We are only able to accept Phone Calls, Faxes, Emails, and New Product Submissions in English at this time.) (Check often to see what presentations are coming up, and/or when we'll be out of the office.) -----------New Product Submissions--------- New products are created and developed approximately 18 months ahead of their introduction date. The new product cycle for 2011 started in September of 2009, and ran through the end of June, 2010. We are now beginning work on new products for 2012, preparing for new product presentations that will start in September. So, this is a good time to begin working with us on your new product ideas. The new product cycle for 2012 officially begins in September. We present new products to the following companies on a monthly basis: Mattel Toys & Games; Fisher-Price Toys & Baby Products; Hasbro Toys & Games; Playskool Preschool Toys & Baby Products; and (possibly) Graco Baby Products. Meetings with other companies are also scheduled whenever new products are deemed appropriate for presentation to them. -----------Out of the Office--------- Paul Lapidus will be out of the office during the morning of Wednesday, September 1st, all day on Friday, September 17th, and all day on Friday, October 1st. -----------Holiday/Vacation--------- Our office will be closed on Friday, September 3rd. through Monday, September 6th. for the Labor Day Holiday in the US.
